Default Matrix 4 and 5 in the works

Quote:
Reeves revealed that he met with the Wachowskis around Christmas. They told him that they completed script treatments for two more "Matrix" installments. They are planning to make the films in 3D and have already met with James Cameron to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the technology.

Reeves added that he's excited to return as Neo and promised that the treatments will truly revolutionize the action genre like the first "Matrix" film did.

Wow, I think they very neatly wrapped up the whole story with Revolutions.

I think this will be good since that whole "war on Zion" is what really interfered with the sequels having a chance, kinda the same way return of the Jedi just wrapped up the trilogy.

Post Neo and what happened to him has been something fans have been speculating on for years now. All that we really had was Matrix online and that closed.

How can you say that Revolutions wrapped it up nicely? It left the most monumental of cliffhangers in movie history.

Oh why oh Why do they have to make this awful movies...

Well at least we have better movies coming out. Green Lantern, Captain America 2011, The Avengers! BowChikaWowWow.

Robert Pattinson the Twilight guy is in the Matrix. There goes all the fan-based guys in matrix have another reason not to watch it.

I thought Reeves was already working on the Cowboy Bebop movie...

Also, didn't Neo die/get transformed into Smith/ in the last movie? Please tell me they won't Jesus him...

What cliffhanger specifically? They closed off most of the loose ends in Revolutions. I know Neo is still alive because you can hear his heartbeat as the Rama Kandra (machine version) drags his body off.

Also it should be damn obvious that Zion is also a matrix.

What's sad is Neo et al got people to be free but how many innocent people died along the way needlessly for the distinction between being freed from one false reality into another?

Actually now I'm intrigued what the new movies will be about.

I thought this thread had died - 2 seconds of Googling found that it was a hoax after it was originally posted...
